Lovely shot Ginnie. Nice tones and subdued colour.
Ginnie: So good to have you back, Aussie. I can hardly wait to hear all about your trip. Thanks for visiting me again.
I like how these two are so organised!!
Just look where they have put all their shoes Love this shot TRUE FRIENDS, having fun Great use of tones Ginnie, well captured mijn vriend
Ginnie: TRUE FRIENDS from this day forward, Tracy. They stole my heart and soul. Thanks.
A lovely picture all around--very appealing.
Ginnie: Thank you, kind sir!
I love the tones too, great de-saturation effect. And the scene, well, they look like kids who are grown up somehow.
Ginnie: This reminds me of a "before" photo of two friends who are, as you say, grown up now, Ruth. Friends who bring out the Child in each other. That's what I saw when I first glanced at these girls. They just captured my imagination!
Beautifully executed, Ginnie.
That looks like the "crunchy" variety of sand.
Ginnie: I guess you're right about the sand, Ray...though it was probably more damp than crunchy. It was quite cool and the sun wasn't shining yet. Thanks.
Absolut cool capture, good desaturnation and fine sharpness, well done Ginnie
Ginnie: You're a sweetheart, Klaus. Thank you.
Very nice shot, Lovely...
I like the composition & colors & lighting & 2 beautiful girls in the shot . . .
Ginnie: The girls were everything, Saeed! They totally captivated my heart and soul. I became a Child all over again through them. Thanks.
How cute are they.good photo
Ginnie: They totally stole my heart, Vintage!
Lovely children-pic- I like that they are not conscious to be photographed by you, they become totally absorbed in their own talking and playing... Prettige pinksteren toegewenst!
Ginnie: They were indeed absorbed in their own world, Philine, even though I was actually quite close to them. It was wonderful to behold. Thank you.
This reminds me of the fun my children used to have, playing on a beach, Ginnie.
Ginnie: This reminds me of the fun I still have, Chad, whenever I'm at the beach. I saw myself in those girls!
This is a lovely image, Ginnie - totally natural and unposed. I really like the subdued toning - have you done anything special to this?
Ingrid
Ginnie: I actually was nearby to them, Ingrid, but they still were absorbed in their own world. It was delightful.
This actually is a B&W/sepia conversion through the Multiply layer on PS. There are two ways to do it and one keeps a hint of the color, which I'm becoming quite fond of!
Very nicely done Ginnie.
Ginnie: Thank you, dear lady.
Very cute and nice subdued colours.
Ginnie: They stole my heart, Nig!
This picture is priceless, this scene could be anywhere in this Univers, Australia, Atlantic City, even on Texel we could find these two friends for life, I love the colours and the candid. They are totally unawhere of their rurroundings and they don't give a hoot who sees them... Have a great day.
Ginnie: I was very nearby them, Astrid, and you're right...they didn't give a hoot that I was there with my camera. This could be you and me in our Child Personas, there on your Texel beach. And if so, I know which one you are!
A beautiful and timeless image. Well done Ginnie!!
Ginnie: Thank you, Martie. This image DID feel timeless to me!
Aaaww, they soo cute
Ginnie: They were adorable, S&S. And Ginnie is doing great.
What a lovely picture of two friends who are probably, at the moment, very special to each other. Let's all hope this friendship stays when they are grown up.
Ginnie: Wouldn't that be splendid, Brian. Kinda like an eternalized moment! Thanks.
cute shot, I like this tones and the background. well done!
Ginnie: Thank you kindly, dear Arash.
sweet shot Ginnie
Ginnie: Thank you kindly, Paul.
They are irresistable....Great processing once again.
Ginnie: I thought so, too! Totally adorable. Thanks, Lina.
A lovely moment captured Ginnie
Ginnie: Thank you kindly, Bill.
Very nice shot Ginnie. I like the expressions you have captured, specially the apprehension in the face of the one on the right
Ginnie: I had a feeling the older girl was trying to convince the younger to run down to the ocean with her. It was a priceless moment for me. Thanks, Navin.
This is priceless! The desaturated look fits well.
Ginnie: They steal your heart, Martin, don't they! Thank you kindly.
This shot is so adorable. I can tell the one has a great idea she's sharing. Exceptional photo. Love the subtle color.
Ginnie: Thanks a million, Sherri. I was smitten!
Sea, sand and siblings ... says it all. richard
Ginnie: Yes, Richard, it does.
I like the desaturated colors in this great photo.
Ginnie: Thank you kindly, Cako.
They are so cute Ginnie. Great shot!
Ginnie: They totally stole my heart, Richard. Thank you.
Second time here today, Ginnie. Beautiful job you've done here.
Ginnie: You're a sweetheart, Mary. Thank you!
Too cute!
Ginnie: That's what I thought, too, Clarence!
what a pleasure to look at Ginnie, wonderful shot and treatment
Ginnie: I think kids have a way of stealing our hearts, Tim. Thanks.
toute mignonne, cette image...
Ginnie: You're very kind, Marie. Thank you.
nice sentimental pic
well processed love the subdued colour if i were to nitpick i'd say the background was about to swallow them
Ginnie: Always feel free to nitpik, DrAW. I always appreciate your comments. Thanks.
Ginnie, this shot is perfect, how adorable and innocent. If only adults got along so well. You captured a beautiful moment.
Ginnie: You were the first to use that word, John: innocent. I think you have nailed it on the head! Thank you, as always.
Excellent with the conversion. Is it only desaturation or did you have other tricks as well.
I'll put it in my likeys in the meantime.
Ginnie: Well, you're kinda right, Louis, and kinda wrong.
Lovely little ladies...
Ginnie: That's what I thought, Still.
Wonderful moment Ginnie
Ginnie: I thought so, too, Chris. Thank you.
Good to see that there are still kids who have a childhood. I came across too many who were grown up well beyond their years when I was teaching.
Ginnie: I know what you mean, Ron. I was never a child growing up...not much of one, at any rate. But now in my sunset years, I'm learning to be one! I became these girls the minute I saw them! Thanks.
I can just imagine what they're saying to each other. You've captured a very precious picture here Ginnie.
Ginnie: Thank you, dear Ellie. They definitely captured my heart!
I like the treatment you have done here - subtle and delicate
Ginnie: Thank you kindly, Aksel!
beautiful shot.....am a sucker for any shot that involves children and this is beautiful!!!!
Ginnie: I'm a sucker, too, Moi.
very sweet... liking the new dry-sepia ur putting into recent images...
Ginnie: I have totally enjoyed that more timeless look, Sam. I'm glad you like it as well. Thanks. "Dry sepia." Hmmm. So THAT'S what it is!
Hi, I grew up near Port Stephens and spent a lot of my younger years around the area. Now I am over 1200 kms from there. This pic brought back some lovely childhood memories of my sisters playing - thanks.
Ginnie: Awwww. Then this is for your sisters, Brian! Here's to happy memories.
Child Candids are the best aren't they. I like the way you muted the colors to make it somewhat antique. Good Job!
Ginnie: You have again really made me feel happy, Jim. Thank you for your comment.
Great tones. Nice work with the saturation!
Ginnie: Thanks a million, Thomas. It's good to see you again!
