Caught
Today grandson Nicholas flies with us to Hawaii for his mommy's wedding on Sunday.
As her mother, I love nothing more than seeing her "caught" by the love of her life! (I'll see you a week from now, after we return.)

The same "magical light" like in the last photo. A great detail shot.
Ginnie: Yes, Carsten. It WAS the same magical light! Thanks.
There's a tactile impression here, as if I could feel the texture of the mitt. Nicely done. And congrats to the new couple.
Ginnie: If you're like me, Red Pen, you love the feel and smell of leather!
Well let us all sincerely hope all works out well for all concerned Ginnie
Ginnie: Absolutely, Chris. They are very good for each other! Thanks.
Great!
This is sports magazine quality stuff, Ginnie.
Ginnie: You know how to make my day, Ray! Thank you.
What a wonderful photo, Ginnie. The mitt is so inviting...I want to pick it up and catch a ball or two.
Aloha! Kay
Ginnie: I love the feel and smell of leather baseball mitts, Kay!
PS. Congratulations to your daughter and her intended!
Ginnie: We are so happy for them, Kay, because it's as though they were made for each other. Thank you kindly.
Love is a beautiful thing! I love the way the light hits the glove.
Ginnie: Love and light go well together, Kanyi, don't they.
amazing how you always manage to capture every lil detail, every fine line in each picture! Show us pics from the wedding and like I said I can't wait for the pics from Hawaii... ready to be blown away (no pressure Gin, no pressure heheh)
Ginnie: HA! I'm quite sure I'll have sacds of pictures, Yinks! Thank you for all your confidence.
Een geweldige foto. Love the SUN on the glove/mitt and the tiny shadow, that is what I hope for the future of your daughter, new son-in-law and Nichilas..lots of sun.
Your were able to catch so much detail in the magic light, I do hope the next week will be magic for all of you.
Ginnie: This is a total week of magic in every way, lieve Astrid. I wish you could be there with us to see it all for yourself! In jouw hart en ziel!
I wish everyone well. You've displayed a wonderful and unique image for the occasion.
Ginnie: Thank you kindly, Sherri. I love when an image seems to match the occasion.
Simply wonderful.
The lighting and viewing through the fence are superb, as is the composition
Ginnie: You're a sweetheart, Paul. Thank you kindly.
j'aime la simplicité de cette photo.
très belle
Ginnie: Thanks a million, O-P!
Nice love the title
Ginnie: Thank you, kind sir.
Love the lighting the tones and all the detail you have captured in this shot Ginnie
Truly stunning. I hope you ALL have a wonderful time, I am sure that Amy and Dennis will be looking forward to YOURS, Donica's and Nicholas's arrival. Hope all goes well and wish them both lots of joy and happiness for the future
Ginnie: We all will be eating dinner together tonight after we arrive, Tracy. Nicholas is so excited he can hardly stand it. So are we.
With very nice words you have catched this moment and connected with the personal situation of your daughter's life and love! I always like how you are combining seen things or scenes... with general thoughts and feelings about human life! With the best wishes for her and him and you..., Philine
Ginnie: It takes one to know one, Philine! You are the magic wordsmith, so I appreciate your own vote of confidence. Thank you.
Hope the wedding is a wonderful day for you all. Wish them every happiness for me.
Ginnie: Thank you, kind sir. They really were made for each other, even though it took awhile to find each other. It's never too late!
This makes a really good still life, Ginnie. The light is just magical.
Ingrid
Ginnie: Thank you, dear Ingrid. It was that wonderful time of the day!
Wow! Ginnie. That good capture you have done here. The defocusing of the iron door and the high degree of precision in the approach on the glove are precious. In addition, the sun illuminates the main subject of a special form! Bravo! A likey for my!
Ginnie: You are a sweetheart, dear José-Angel. Thank you.
Awesome shot Ginnie. How are the wedding plans going?
Ginnie: The plans have been set in place long ago, Etomi. Now it's the waiting game...enjoying every minute till it happens. Everything is low-key, which makes it less stressful. But it will still be stunning, though simple. I like that.
I hope that your daughter's future will be accompanied by the wonderful sunlight of your picture!
My best wishes to all of you.
Ginnie: I love your kind wishes, Richard, and am sure they will come true. They were made for each other!
Possibly one of our favourite images from Ginnie. Perfect perfect shot that deserves more than a hmmm or interesting

I'm just loving your baseball images. Brings me back to those days when my boys were younger..and baseball RULED!!!!
The lighting is great!
Ginnie: You are so very sweet, Marcie. Don't we love those memories. When you have them with your grandchildren, they seem even more delicious!
You have captured the little details of spring little league baseball brilliantly. I think the light follows you around. Congrats on the upcoming wedding and have a blast in Hawaii. I'm sure there will be some wonderfully lit images from there to come on your blog.
Ginnie: It was a delightful time in Hawaii, Karima, with many great opportunities for pictures. When I'll sort them all through, who knows! But thanks!
Wishing everyone at the wedding all the luck in the world...have a safe journey and great time all.
Ginnie: Thanks, Chris. A great time was definitely had by all...and at least we are now back safe-n-sound. My daughter returns on Sunday.

Ginnie: And YOU'RE sweet, Dotun. Thanks a million.
Excellent light - this is very, very nice - I want to reach out my hand and tuch everything in the pic...

Wish a happy married life for your daughter.
Ginnie: Thank you so much, Sarthak. I want to believe they will have a great life together!
This is funny, Ginnie, because from the thumbnail I thought these were Cornish pasties.
Ginnie: HA! That's exactly why we ALWAY ALWAYS ALWAYS have to look.
What a beautiful light and details for this one. Splendid Ginnie. I like it.
Ginnie: You are so very kind, Still. Thank you.

It takes guts to shut it like this, through the chicken wire. You're a brave woman, Ginnie.
Ginnie: HA! You know how to make my day, VZ.
So here's the baseball glove I mentioned yesterday Ginnie, great shot. Have a good time in Hawaii.

Ginnie: Thank you kindly, Mary Beth. We had a fabulous time!
It's amazing isn't it, how a lens can focus out the wire in the foreground. Lovely detail Ginnie.
Have a wonderful weekend, what a magical place for a wedding
Ginnie: Thank you, Ellie. Those lenses ARE amazing, for sure! The wedding was magical in every way. I can hardly wait to work on the photos.
Nice symbolism - 'caught' for your daughter and 'time out' for you spending a few days in the dugout. Great shot.
Ginnie: Precies, Louis. Dank you wel!
Très chouette !
Ginnie: Thanks for stopping by and commenting, Miss75.
Ginnie, another great shot. What I love most is the way you captured what is an everyday image. How many of us have walked past such a shot and not thought about it.
Unlike the others though, I have no desire to pick them up - too old, too tired
Ginnie: You know how to make my day, Brian. But c'mon! You're never to old to pick up a baseball glove. Even I know that!
You are so very fortunate Ginnie. Best of everything for you and your family. This picture is great. For myself, maybe I must be a sentimentalist or something, but the image creates a lonely feeling. Great creative job on this one, I really like it.
Ginnie: I know that feeling, John. There was lots of ethos in this image for me as well. Thanks.
jolie composition, j'aime la lumière ici !
Ginnie: Thanks a million, Marie!
this is magical light here. since i do like to make pic with such light, i like this very much. furthermore your blog is fantastic. If dont mind I link to it.
Ginnie: You are so very kind, Chris. Thanks for stopping by and commenting. I tried to leave a comment at your own site but it wouldn't let me. I'll try again later. And yes, of course, you may link to me. I would be honored.
